After watching the entire team I worked with at Reed get laid off (I was the only survivor of the layoff), I had pretty much had enough of full-time positions.
At that time, I started full-time consulting at SAP in Newtown Square as a .NET Architect and Developer. That 3-month contract turned into 2.5 years
of continuous work as the VB.NET WinForms desktop product I developed gained notoriety in the company and I eventually traveled to Europe several times as part of my work. In September of 2005, it was
time for a change and I landed a really nice gig at TNS Media Intelligence working on their AdScope project (C# ASP.NET).
In July of 2006, I moved on to my next gig at Barclays Bank Delaware (formerly Juniper Bank) as a .NET consultant working on desktop applications that integrate with telephony systems.
I have been doing freelance consulting work on the side since 1999, but in April 2006 I decided it was time to become more official and I incorporated my own company, Premier Coding Solutions, Inc. All work I do now, whether full-time consulting or "on-the-side" consulting, is done via my company, Premier Coding Solutions, Inc.
I worked at Cahners Business Information
in King of Prussia, PA, USA from October 2001 to February 2003. I was a Senior Systems Analyst in the IT department working mostly with VB, ASP and
SQL Server coding and project design and development.
I worked at ATX
Telecommunications Services in Bala Cynwyd, PA, USA from October 2000 to September 2001.
I was a Senior Web Application Designer working in an all Microsoft environment. I
am working on VB/Java/COM//IIS/ASP/SQL Server/Cold Fusion and probably
a million other web-related terms.

Between May 28, 1996 and October 13, 2000 I worked at Unisys
Corporation in Blue Bell, PA, USA. I was an Applications and
Architecture Analyst in the Sales and Marketing IT department.
During the 4.5 years I worked there, I met amazing people and learned
more than I could have ever learned from a book or any college for that
matter. I got to be admin on servers I would never be able to
afford and enjoyed a nice relaxed atmosphere with the occasional stuffed
animal flying over the cube walls.

Although I have been a computer consultant to friends/family for years,
it was always just a hobby until I began professional Visual Basic consulting
for Baldwin-Sadler
Corporation in Audobon, PA.
Nowadays I also consult for Timeless
Black Movies, Inc. and Revenue Collection Bureau, Inc.

I started programming in BASIC (Basic All-purpose Symbolic Instruction
Code) when I was 6 and I haven't stopped since. I was hired by
Unisys for my visual basic skillz and in January 1999 I started teaching
CIS222,
an advanced visual basic course, at Montgomery County Community College
in Blue Bell, PA, USA.

I started web design by earning a Ph.D. in a slick program called "Notepad"
(for the non-techy readers, that was a joke ;-) and writing all HTML
code from scratch. As better tools came out I adapted and my current
fave is Dreamweaver Ultradev. Below is a list of public sites
I've designed:
Latino Renaissance
Gallery, Inc.
CIS222
- Advanced Visual Basic
Time 2 Quake
Time
2 Quake Secrets
Disciplined Bohemians band
website
I also did 2 major websites for Unisys, but they are internal Unisys
sites and proprietary to the company so I can't link them. What
I can do is list some of what I worked on:
Dynamic sites with inquiry and secure update capabilities to Oracle
7 and 8 databases.
OLTP and OLAP web-based applications.
A distributed web-based marketing application with multilingual capabilities,
automated emails, translation feature using NT Terminal Server, Oracle
8 and Oracle Application Server.
