WOW, just... WOW. I'll fill the results in as I get them. Big thanks to Jess, Brian, Matt and Bill for sharing the results with me to post here.
Courtesy of Andrew once again, here is the video of our demo at Franklin Square in Philly for the Asian American Heritage Month event.
The demo crew had a demo last night for the Boy Scouts in Conshohocken. I couldn't make it due to work but the team showed up and put on a very nice show. Many many thanks as always to Andrew for video taping, running the show, and getting the video online.
I was telling my demo crew about this old school skit yesterday, so today I dug up the video and digitized it. This is from some time in 1995.
Thanks to
Andrew, we have a preview of some of the new stuff the demo team is working on:
Yesterday felt so awesome. It was my demo team's return to practice and the Johnston Triplets broke us in with a hard workout to get the year started right. I didn't feel as slow and sluggish as the run in my previous post, but I could still feel the heaviness in my legs after the time off of training. It was a great workout though and I feel energetic this morning (albeit a bit sore).
I noticed that this past Saturday was the start of the Winter Sparring Season. Unfortunately, I have to sit this season out. I just can't commit to being at the school every single Saturday or even most Saturdays. I plan to pop in on one of the sessions in February though to help ref, watch the matches and hang out.
One of my new year's resolutions is a return to training. I don't know what that means for my actual attendance at formal class, but I've been making trips to the basement to stretch out and train there when its not too cold. Its better than nothing and now I have a TV and DVD player down there so i'm pushing to work all the CTF forms from the bottom up.
Here are the pics I took from that night. I didn't take too many unfortunately. Usually I take a ton of pics. I was just happy to be out that night

I also put the intro video I made for the party on YouTube as well (see below). That was a lot of fun and it was great hanging out with everyone.
I'm finally using my basement a bit more now. I have the entertainment center down there but still need to run cable for the TV. The radio is all hooked up though, which comes in very handy when I go downstairs to do some weight lifting or to make use of my new training mats

These mats are excellent and i'm really enjoying them so far. They are a different brand from the ones at the school. I got the slightly thinner ones because they are cheaper and I can't jump in my basement anyway, so I saved some money and some vertical space (because I have low ceilings in the basement... even 1/2" extra is a lot).
